New Advanced Technology

Annual eye exams are vital to maintaining your vision and overall health.  Now, Quality Vision Care offers the optomapas an important component of our eye exams. The optomap produces an unique image which provides Dr. Melton with a high-resolution 200º (degree) image that gives her the ability to ascertain the health of your retina. The sensitive tissue that makes up the retina is susceptible to a variety of diseases that could lead to loss of vision or in some cases blindness. Many eye problems can develop with out you knowing, and you may not ever notice a change in your eye sight. Fortunately, disease or damage such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal tears or detachments, and many other health problems such as diabetes or high blood pressure can be seen with a thorough examination of the retina.

At Quality Vision Care, Dr. Melton believes that as the technology in optics change, so must the equipment utilized to give the best in patient experience. This new instrument allows Dr. Melton to get the best possible prescription, customized for each patient.
